The point that I’m speaking to is that deep and abiding appreciation and gratitude are truly powerful things which can change our lives…the more and more skillfully we embrace them as a way of life.
True appreciation of the miracle of the moment does not need to be just an ideal – the more and more we realize this, the more and more it is reflected in our quality of health and well-being. Is it ‘true health through true responsibility?’ It is up to you to decide.
It is requisite of substantive levels of mindfulness, e.g., NOT living for the moment, but living IN the moment (AND among the greatest of blessings of all, is that there is ALWAYS room for improvement – greater and greater levels of mastery). It is the right thing for the right selfless sake…it is treating life as a beyond-words-wonderful living loving sparkling spine-tingling art. It is healing on a level beyond what we can easily understand – until our appreciation so genuinely comes alive…through an altruistic spirit of sincerity, honesty, and loving gratitude for the uncountable miracles and blessings all around us and inside of us, ALL of the time. — Dr. Glen Hepker
